Mathieu Roy scored twice in regualtion and Andrei Kostitsyn scored the Bulldogs' only two goals in the shootout as Hamilton knocked off division rival Grand Rapids 3-2. Danis played net and from the sounds of it played pretty good. Dogs outshot the Gryphons 40-34. Nice to see Danis play a strong game. Back to Steeltown to take care of T.O. Friday.

Great to see the kids on a roll, this was also a road game and their third in four nights, so they showed some jam to get the points tonight. stats.theahl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=1002498For those with Sportsnet East/Ont/HD, Friday's game is on the tube. Cheer the future on in between the Habs games tomorrow and Saturday. Friday against the Marlies and Saturday against the Leafs...another double header weekend against the bad guys.

Dogs now 8-2-0 in their past 10. Second hottest team in the AHL. First is the Amerks at 8-1-1. That one loss coming at the hands of.....Hamilton.
I live only 35 minutes from Copps Coliseum....I gotta get down there for a few games.

I know the AHL shoot out rules are different ( 5 shooters instead of three) but did you say AK scored both SO goals?

They obviously are allowed to go back to the original 5 after that, as Kosty was the 6th shooter for Hamilton. Kostitsyn is now 9-for-19 in career shootout attempts and holds a franchise record with three shootout game-winning goals.
