Really? He led the team with 66 points in 71 games. And the 66 points is one off a career best. If this is true it's just, IMO, another questionable move by McCrimmon.

Yeah, that seems silly. He is producing big time and he is not a long term headache. He only has two more years at $7 million per.
The huge mistake Vegas made was falling in love with Lehner so shortly after falling in love with Fleury. That jammed them up.

The huge mistake Vegas made was falling in love with Lehner so shortly after falling in love with Fleury. That jammed them up. Lehner wasn't clutch. I would have gone with Fleury. The game he lost his save percentage was above .950 and he allowed one goal. Not his fault the team couldn't score, but I think Vegas was looking ahead to signing Lehner long term and playing Fleury would have hurt the negotiations. TVA, huh? Could this be another propaganda effort?

Like like TVA got it wrong. It was Statsny that got saw it-- to Winnipeg.

Like like TVA got it wrong. It was Statsny that got saw it-- to Winnipeg. Well, what they said on air was that the Knights were trying to move salary, and many big names were on the table. I'm going to assume the price for Pacioretty would have been steeper than that for a pure salary dump...

That makes more sense. Vegas is definitely in CAP hell.

That makes more sense. Vegas is definitely in CAP hell. The article stated actually that everyone other than Lehner, Theodore and Stone was available. I'm seriously annoyed with Theodore's progression, since I thought we could have gotten him either as a kid for a Markov rental, or at the expansion draft, gotten him for cheaper to protect him ahead of... Benn, I think ?

He was considered an A prospect. Would not have come cheap.

Probably touched on it but doubt they were serious. Caproom and return on Patches be decent why they considered it. I would imagine
