I know that this belongs on the Prospect's Board. I'm just letting everyone know that the Baby Habs are taking on the Baby Leafs tonight on SportsNet East at 7:30. Part one of the leafs Habs weekend battle. Go habs Go!!!!!!!!

Is anyone else watching this? Harry Neale and Bob Cole have NOTHING on these clowns calling this game. RJ Broadhead and Gord Stellick are unabashed Leaf lovers. Out of Stellick's mouth so far. After Ferland got hit from behind twice on the same shift, out comes : Those are borderline dives... Later after Grabovski gets taken down trying split the Marlie d. : I guess when you're talented you can afford to embellish. Jeez! I'll never complain (as much) about Cole and Neale again. Just pathetic.

Just pathetic. Stellick was the youngest GM ever when he managed the Leafs from April 1988 to August 1989. In that short time he made one of the worst deals ever: he sent Russ Courtnall to Montreal straight up for John Kordic (RIP). He's a big wig in Toronto broadcasting now....he's knowledgeable and has the Bob McKenzian gift of gab....but he's certainly a Leafs' fan first. Broadhead's just another Sportsnet lackey who speaks well of any regional team to which he's assigned. They're all the same. Dancing to whatever tune the piper plays. |

so what happenned? i missed the 3rd period! Yeah same here. I set up my PVR to record it and it must have gone over. A minute and a half left in regulation. It was 3-2 Toronto and we were going on the power play. Glad it wasn't the big club playing as I'd a had a fit. Let's hope the Habs have a better outing. The Dogs looked like a mirror image of the Habs when the Habs are having an off night. Strong goaltending at both ends keeping it close, but the skaters were losing pucks in their skates all night, broken passes, etc. You know, the usual. Racine played a great game. I thought the Bulldogs were solely made up of Habs prospects this year...no Oilers? There were some in the lineup last night. Traverse looked like, well, Traverse. |

Two Oilers prospects - Mathieu Roy and Zack Stortini. Two "independents" - Ajay Baines and Eric Manlow. The rest are Habs' prospects or, in the case of Traverse, never weres.

I've heard him on the FAN590 morning show with Don Landry. MAybe he just thinks he's a bigshot. |
