Weird. Did Carolina not just place him on waivers upon acquiring him from Ottawa? I guess that it must a number of professional contracts type issue why the Leafs make a trade instead of having just claimed him yesterday from the waiver wire.
I really do not understand where Galchenyuk will play on Toronto's roster. His game is not at all suited to bottom six roles. The Leafs have a crazy stacked first power play unit that usually stays on the ice for 90 seconds, so Galchenyuk's natural calling card is kind of irrelevant to a team that has crazy top end skill doing their thing on the man advantage.

Maybe they got him so he can play against the habs... But the fact it turned around quickly, maybe they had something un the works beforehand |

Don't worry, Chucky reputation will miracously change and he is no longer a worthless player passed around for used pucks.
If the worse team in the NHL gave up on him within a month....its not about his play.
Don't really care, but i do care that Chucky turned into Josh Anderson.
