Three years, starts next season. He can join Laval again if the Dub finishes earlier than the AHL. He looked very comfortable in his three game auction with the Rocket recently.

Not surprised. he too, fits the mold of tough defenseman, though I hope he's more mobile than the Edmundson/Chiarot ilk. Generally I like his progression path.

He kind of reminds me of past prospect Darren Dietz. Strong, relatively mobile, tough and comes with a very good point shot. But I find it hard to get excited about point shots these days. I've seen enough of those in the past few weeks to last a lifetime.

His mobility is better in four directions I find. His edge work and ability to move laterally in both zones is better. He looks after his own end for sure, but gets shots through in the O zone by moving more than those other guys.

Not as big as Guhle, but he does like his penalty minutes.

For what it's worth, Dobber gives him a 6 for NHL career and a 4 for fantasy upside.

Guhle gets....7 for NHL career and 6.5 for fantasy upside

Romanov gets....9.5 for NHL career adn 7.8 for fantasy upside

Juulsen was...WAS....6.5 for NHL career and 9 for fantasy upside? I don't get that.

Fantasy is based on points accumulation potential... NHL is career longevity??? Concussion issues?
