He was one of those players who looked like he could do it anytime he wanted ... Stephane Richer was another one like that ... Alexei Kovalev was a bit of a rumour magnet, but it was still good to see him in Montreal ... I miss that kind of talent in Montreal, but at the same time I don't miss the inconsistency ... good to hear he's doing well, though ...

When Kovy was "on" or motivated, what an absolute treat to watch... I remember him making Chara, in his prime, nervous and hesitating, not knowing what Kovy would do.... |
