Great memories of that series. That run was the high point of the last decade for the Habs in my recollection. We had some young exciting players entering their primes, and a bunch of guys punching above their weight (DD, Wiese, Weaver). Price was lights out. The excitement in the Bell center over every big play.
Feels like we suffered through two decades of mediocrity to get to that spot where we had a real shot. Then gone with the injury to Price, and right back into another era of mediocrity.

Tim and Friends last night had a guy on there doing trade trees. Weise trade was one he did. We traded Diaz for Weise. Got 2 decent years out of Weise. Then traded Weise for Romanov and Danault. He said one of best trades he seen

I highly doubt that. Haven’t seen any evidence to the contrary of Lucic still being a sucker punching, roid raging clown.

In the full interview he supported both Weber and Subban then said we had to trade Subban. I think he was alluding to Gallagher, but not sure.

Had this in a GDT either last year or the year before ... it wasn't so much the handshake, but Milan Lucic's reaction in the dressing room that I remember the most ... see the Lucic Meltdown ...
