Only allowing 2 goals on 21 shots in the 1st was pretty darn good goaltending. I saw that box score last night and was impressed. The other 5 goalies were allowing about 2 goals each on 9 to 12 shots.

Huet, Abeisher, Halak, Danis, Price. It could be worse!!! Racicot. Theodore. You can add Cedrick Desjardins to the mix. This is his first year as a pro with Cincinnati. He's 4th in the ECHL in GAA (2.36), tied for 4th in save % (.922), 6th in wins with 16 and tied for first in shutouts with 4. He's played in 27 of Cincinnati's 40 games. I suspect he'll be pushing for a spot in Hamilton next year. Although he wasn't drafted, he was signed by Montreal to a two-year minor league contract with Hamilton (who sent him to Cincinnati - he wasn't going to unseat Danis or Halak this year).

Well he was signed by Hamilton so his nhl rights are open for any team to sign him. I would think that the Habs would sign him to an nhl contract after the success he had. As for the other goalies, I've heard that Heino might get the starters job with Farjestad next year, but if we don't sign him this summer we lose his rights. The big question will be what happens with Danis, who has been better of late, but as a UFA will he chose to sign elsewhere? The backup spot should be open, likely putting Price in Hamilton, as I assume that's the plan to get him a number of starts in the AHL next year. There's also Lacasse who's been getting the wins with Oshawa, but I'd expect him to be the backup to Desjardins in the ECHL if the trio of Danis, Halak, Price are taking up the 2 spots in hamilton and the backup to Huet.
