Grabovski was labouring out there after he got tackled by Marc Moro. But he did have a strong finish, and it doesn't look too serious.
Kyle Chipchura had one of those "do you remember when?" games. The goal he scored to tie the game at four, with less than 30 seconds left, was nothing short of brilliant. The young man is still at least a year away from the NHL, but he's going to be a very special player when he gets there.
Francis Lemieux, who is a bubble guy that may or may not ever crack an NHL roster, did appear to be seriously hurt when Jeremy Williams threw a knee at him. Williams, for what it's worth, did appear to take the brunt of it. And word out of the locker room after the game is that Lemieux's knee brace probably saved his knee, though I haven't heard anything about Williams.

Also, Duncan Milroy was recalled by the Habs after the game.

What a game! The Dogs came from behind no less than three times. Chipchura with an outstanding game. Ditto Danis. Hamilton is playing great hockey right now.

Nothing at this point would surprise me. They certainly showed far more heart and grit than the high priced help.

Kyle Chipchura had one of those "do you remember when?" games. The goal he scored to tie the game at four, with less than 30 seconds left, was nothing short of brilliant. The young man is still at least a year away from the NHL, but he's going to be a very special player when he gets there. While watching the game last night I was paying special attention to Chipper. A co-worker of mine was at the game last night and he told me Chipchura was one of the guys he was looking forward to seeing so I paid more attention than usual to him. I was extremely impressed with Chipchura. He showed both speed and offensive talent that I haven't seen from him before. Perhaps it was a case of him stepping up with Kosty being out and Grabovsky hurting. In any case, he showed that he obviously is more than one dimensional (he's shown his defensive prowess all season long). Danis was very shaky in the first period but seemed to settle down after that. When the game went to overtime I leaned over to the guy beside me and told him I hoped we didn't go to a shoot out because Danis is terrible one-on-one. Fortunately for Danis most of the Marlie shooters in the shoot out missed the net! Pogge wasn't particularly impressive for the Marlies in the game, either.
