They said Danis wasn't hurt too bad so he might be ok by the next game on friday.

Wonder if the injury was to his pride? 4 goals in a period and a bit. He'll bounce back.

Danis is back now, though he didn't play tonight. Baby Habs over Chicago 6-3. Chips with 1st star of the game. As some of the more experience guys got called up, he's played more of a role and is now developing a nice scoring touch. If Bonk is let go, I could see this guy coming up next year and taking that spot. Defensively he seems already nhl ready especailly on the PK. Lately he has been dropping the gloves as well and doing a good job of it. I'd like to see him take the body a little more. We'll have to see how he looks come September, and I'd be all for him getting some games, and hope he does see some action but I personally don't think he's ready to make the jump full time, although he has been better lately and almost scored a nice SO goal on a good deke but hit the post. |
