...for those of you who follow the Bulldogs more closely I was wondering how Grabovsky has been doing since Kostsysin has been called up. Is he sill dominant? Did he completely dispear?

The game I saw against the Marlies, he was still skating well and was dangerous, but was not using his linemates well, doing too much on his own. In addition, his actual scoring has dropped off a lot. He's still a pretty dynamic player and some more 'seasoning' wouldn't hurt him, but not too much more. I don't think he's playing with D'Agostini, who's been on a tear. I like to see him not only score more, but making his linemates score more.

The Dogs have pretty much been on the road since Kosty was called up (the only home game they've played since his recent call up was Feb. 23) so I haven't seen much of Grabovski without AK. I'll have a chance to see him tonight and Friday as they will finally be back home. I'll try to give a report.

...for those of you who follow the Bulldogs more closely I was wondering how Grabovsky has been doing since Kostsysin has been called up. Is he sill dominant? Did he completely dispear? Imo he hasn't been the same since the cheap shot he got from dirt bag Danny Carcillo (who got traded to the Yotes) It was a knee on knee shot that the Dogs sent a tape in but were told they missed the deadline so he got away free. Grabovski tried to comeback, then missed some games. Then he came back only to get hit hard twice, and have to leave the game again. He said his knee still wasn't 100% so I don't know why they kept playing him. Aside from the injury he hasn't produced that well since Kostitsyn got called up, with only a handful of assists. That said whenever you take away one of the better players in the league, it's going to hurt. Right now Matt D'Agostini is by far the hottest player on the Dogs, he is on fire, everything is going in for him, he had a great shot last night for a goal and has had 6 goals in the last 3 games.

I paid a little extra attention to Mik tonight, not that it was hard to. The guy was flying tonight. He was by far the most dynamic player on either team tonight. He has so much flash, dash, and sizzle that it's sometimes easy to overlook the holes in his game.
I figure he's still a year or two away from regular NHL duty, even though he has the talent to dominate. He still plays within the game, but he has the skill set to completely take games over. During the lockout, I saw Jason Spezza play in the American League, and the game revolved around him whenever he was on the ice. I'd say Mik has a skill set very similar to Spezza's, and it will be nice to see him learning to control the tempo and pace of the game while he's on the ice.
Now, with that small criticism in mind, Mik still has frightening speed, has the puck on a string, moves through traffic almost as well as he moves through open ice, and isn't afraid of playing along the boards. He fights through checks, and should become a very important player in the near future.

Both his last 2 SO goals were sick, he came flying in both times with so much speed. I'd say after Kostitsyn he's the best player in Hamilton on the SO, but Kostitsyn was just money in the bank on the SO.
