This is all twilight zone at this point. But Quebec did cut the restriction from 10 days down to the now-accepted norm of 5 days, so one would assume that quite a few of the non-symptomatic Habs will be playing against the Bruins on January 12.
Every team is going through the wringer. The Flyers just had Giroux and Provorov enter the Covid protocol today. The thing that is abundantly clear is that the league is not willing to shut down for anything more than the mini-shutdown over Christmas. Games here or there will be postponed, mostly because of hockey of related revenue implications, but otherwise the mandate is to ice the team you can ice, just basically zip it and play the games.

My little boss gave me some grief...she's uder the impression that "accidentally" falling on a player is a penalty. I'm sure i can sell my swamp stroke for at least a minute! All seriousness aside, i may have to watch the game just to satisfy my masochist desires. |

Jaja, yeah it should be interesting to see the lineup on Wednesday in Boston.
Before the season I said 86 points when I thought Weber was the only guy lost to injury, so I was not expecting playoffs or even coming close to playoffs. But I certainly never imagined the confluence of events that has taken Montreal to the bottom of the league. This is a historically bad season. The reality is that the Habs will begin to get some good players healthy and the 45 point season pace will not be sustained. However, it would require playing a lot of good hockey to arrive at 70 points. To put it bluntly, Montreal is a lock to finish bottom five.
