Well that didn't take long to be out of work. Despite many differences of opinion I think MB is a good hockey guy with a lot of knowledge, however it was timew for a change in Montreal.
Working with Blake and Robitaille I think he will add value to the Kings and wish him the best.

Apparently Rob Blake just got offered a new deal to remain as GM, so in reality Bergevin just got a nice change of scenery with the added perk that he is hanging out with a couple of old buds. I would agree that he can add value on the pro scouting/evaluation front and as a pseudo-Assistant GM, luckily for the Kings, Bergevin will not be involved in contract negotiations.

Will he get another GM job? It could be. Time will say.
