I believe that "stuff" may refer to the bag of pucks and used tape we get for Sammy. Oh, I dunno...you don't know BC like I know BC...he's, uh....odd. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) CO Well, I don't know BC at all . . . are you suggesting that is a good thing? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Should have known there was something deep, dark, and sinister behind the post.

Now...ahem...by "stuff" do you mean things like wall-anchors, radiator-hose brackets, faucet handles and door-springs? Or do you mean things like a blank Betamax tape, 1 1/4' drywall screws, pencil erasers, and purple sidewalk chalk? I think BC is referring in a ruthless Leninist vein to "human material" incorporating "the right stuff" in a hockey sense. At least that's my interpretation.

Call me Biased, but if Voracek happens to slip to 12th we take him. I doubt very much he'll be around, but he is impressive. Strong on his skates, gritty and plenty of finesse and scoring touch. With our second pick in the 1st I like Bill Sweatt, one of the fastest skaters at the World Junior and again very strong on his skates. My sleeper pick in the 1st round would be Logan McMillan. This guy had an outstanding second half, hampered by injuries in the first half. he moved up the charts and from what I here from a local scout here is that he could go even higher than ranked. Tremendous work ethic combined with good hockey sense scoring touch and likes to take the body. I know I haven't mentioned a D-men, but again you should take the best player available. Voracek should be long gone, likely top four IMO. Kane, Turris, JMR and Voracek all likely are in that mix, with Alzner not too far behind. Cherapanov could be a real wild card depending on the state of the transfer agreement, as he had been dropping based on work ethic/inconsistent play. Those skills will tempt someone, especially if getting him out of Russia won't need a special ops mission. Sweatt is a really interesting choice for us with our SJS first round pick. He is fast and skilled and makes things happen. A huge riser in most rankings, so teams are taking notice for sure. Logan McMillan was one of the biggest risers from the mid-term to final Central Scouting rankings, so he is on the way up big time for his play this season on your hometown team. A few other scouting agencies have him as a guy whose stock is really rising as well, so I am sure he is on a few radar screens now. Good to hear some first hand info about him as I have him as a guy I hope the Habs pick up from the second round on.
