1965 Finals, Game 7. The first of Cournoyer's 10 Cups.
His signature speed on full display making the score 3-0 in what would be a 4-0 final--all goals scored in the first period.
The Habs came to play that night. Beliveau scored the eventual Cup winner at 0:14. The Gumper with a 20-save shutout.

He made a difference in the 1972 Summit Series ... but, I also remember him replacing the injured, Guy Lafleur, and in his first game on the top line he scores 5 goals and adds 2 assists in Montreal's 12-3 win over Chicago ... Cheers.

Explains when he was coined "The Roadrunner" by a Sports Illustrated writer after a game in New York--during the 6-team league.
Then he's shown the replay (for the first time) of a great goal vs. the North Stars' Cesare Maniago. Switched from left to right-handed shot and scored far side through the 6-hole. The announcer (sounds like the Bruins' guy at that time)...called it a "backhander". Perhaps he corrected himself afterwards.
I think #12 switched it up a few times in his career. As he explains, he worked on both sides with various weighted steel pucks made in his father's machine shop.
