So I'm confused. What did a cut (serious as it was) have to do with Koivu missing part of Game 3 and then games 4, 5 and 6 as a result of Williams' high stick that blinded him? This only confirms my opinion of Rivet's IQ, slamming your buddy and captain into a toilet simply to avoid a smell that would disappear in 15 minutes. Just a little excessive. I was so pleased when we traded him. And what a great deal that turned into.

As if this story doesn't make fans angry when it comes out now. Saku couldn't bend over...he couldn't move....but he had the most TOI of any Habs' forward that night: 23:26. Likely because Coach Gainey knew nothing about the toilet trauma. Saku had 1 assist in a 6-5 OT (Ryder) win to go up 2-0 heading home. He started Game 3 and the Williams 2nd period high-stick took him out of the playoffs. Rivet doesn't even mention the eye injury. Koivu was already playing through the pain of the porcelain puncture. Recounting another incident, Rivet says he had Koivu in a "death headlock" for 45 minutes...in a narrow space between the bed and the window. Radio Rivet: 2:00 for embellishment.

You can't spell conTRIVEd without Rivet.
