Glad pro hockey's acceptance (and promotion) of bloodlust team philosophy is over. The Flyers were 2-time defending champs at the time of the assault on Tardif.
The most recent exception was the 2011 Bruins who were allowed to bully their way to a Cup.
Can't help but be reminded of the Chara dirt on Pacioretty earlier that season. No fine. No suspension. Unfortunate...
Both Marc and Max were extremely lucky to have been able to walk, let alone play pro hockey again. Wonder if Max experiences headaches--a la Marc to this day.
