Lots of emotion tonight. Price looking steady as usual. Same lineup as last night's game for Hamilton. Not sure about the Bears lineup.
Dogs just finished a pp. No score.

Barney scores for the Bears 1-1. Wrap around goal caught Price off guard a bit. Don't think he expected his teammate to give it up behind the net like that.

1-1 after the first. Bob Gainey will be interviewed up next. Cool.

For those who aren't listening to the game, Gainey answered some questions regarding the prospects and their development. In particular he mentioned Groulx and Chipchura as raising their game in the past weeks and months. Price is playing exceptionally but alot of credit goes to the team in front of him allowing him to do so. Milroy is a player that can be an excellent AHL player, ouch. Says you can't just look at individual stats but how they play within the team and right now the team has no weak links in their chain.

Jancevski scores from the blueline. 2-1 Dogs! Possibly tipped. Bears and fans claim goalie interference. Officials not biting.

Klepis scores for the Bears a minute after Hamilton goes up by goal. All tied at 2 goals a piece. A quick pass from the corner out front to an uncovered Bear player. O'Byrne slow to cover him.

A point shot through a maze of legs finds it's way behind Price. 3-2 Bears.

3-2 bears Hi CV, I just got back. Hey. I guess we're the only ones without a life after 6:00. The Bears are playing it tough tonight. Are you watching or listening?

I hear Locke's name quite a lot. I guess he's pretty involved again tonight.

Gee. Its scoring chances on scoring chances on either sides, like no ones wants to play defense!

The Dogs look like they're using the scramble play in the offensive zone to generate scoring chances. Problem is the Bears have a great breakout playbook. The penalty we just got are the ones I loathe. A two on one with a Hamilton player covering the player going to the net with his stick a little high to slow him down and the player uses the opportunity to crash hard into Price. A hooking call. Sure, but, why not a goalie interference call at the same time. Clearly he wasn't hauled down.

Please refrain from commenting on the Hens/Ducks game. I'm recording it to watch after the Dogs game.

Final score 4-2 Bears. Going to Hamilton for games 3, 4 and 5. Price hung out to dry a couple of times throughout the game by his defense. Have to tighten up the d back home. The Bears have a very aggresive forecheck on the pk. Have to move the puck more efficiently.
