I have one ticket for each of the next three Calder Cup Finals games in Hamilton (I have two tickets but my better half won't be available to go). I'm willing to part with the available ticket gratis to the first person to reply. If you're interested, please specify which game or games you're interested in. The only catch is you'll have to sit next to me ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) .

If I could go I'd be there in a heartbeat. Nice gesture on your part Gogie. I'm sure someone will be interested. That's some good hockey.

I'd rather see the seat filled with a Hab fan than sit empty ;D

I'd love to go to the 3 games if I lived anywhere near Hamilton! Oh well... Maybe I'll be able to the the farm team once they move closer to Montreal. After all, you won't be needing the AHL once you get the Predators! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

There are so many reasons why the NHL will never have a franchise in Hamilton I won't bother going into them all. The obvious ones are territorial rights (T.O. and Buffalo will rape any franchise that tries to locate in Hamilton), fan apathy (Hamilton will be lucky to fill the lower bowl for even one game of the Calder Cup finals - how many seats do they think blue-collar Hamilton will fill when ticket prices are $100+ instead of $25 and the team is forever an also-ran?) and facilities (Copps Colliseum is not an NHL-calibre rink. They will have to literally raise the roof and gut the entire facility to build out a modern rink. Then there is the question of parking - they'd have to demolish a lot of real estate to handle the traffic and parking problems.) P.S. - I forgot the number one reason why Hamilton will never get an NHL team. If they put an NHL team in Hamilton then Toronto would want one too ;D.

My Dad & I are going tonight. I called Saturday & had no trouble getting 2 seats on the aisle in the lower bowl. I bought through ticketmaster & they added an eleven dollar surcharge to two tickets valued at $53.00. ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png)

They always charge extra when you buy through ticketmaster. It's almost better to go to Copps and buy the tickets (which is what I'm doing tonight.) Fortunately, it's easy enough to obtain tickets. Unfortunately, not a lot of people are that interested in the Bulldogs.

My father is elderly & has some specific seating requirements. The service charge sucks but it's worth it if he is comfortable.
