Caufield and Suzuki have scored 23 of the team’s 57 goals.
An argument can be made that they’ve scored 25 of the 59 team goals, as they both are the only players to score in the shootout

Good luck, Scotty.
Columbus is playing better system hockey than they were in October despite the fact that their roster has really been badly depleted by injuries. The boys need to jump on the ice ready to play. Slow starts have been a problem of late.
Columbus has some size and team toughness so I like the idea of having a more robust lineup on the ice.
Losing twice in seven days to the Blue Jackets would be awful.

Dvorak's line is ridiculously inept at offensive awareness

Surely we can come up with better PP units than having to use Dadonov and Gallagher on the same unit. Me and Willie will end 2023 with just as many PP goals as those two

I think they need to have 2 dmen and 3 forwards for each pp unit, we don't have enough quality forwards for 4 or 5 forwards on a pp unit Cole-suze-anderson Guhle-matheson Slaf-monahan-bgal Xhekaj-kovacevic

His stick is where scoring opportunities and rushes go to die

How did they let someone behind the defense TWICE on the SAME SHIFT!! ..
Please please please take Dadonov off the point on the PP, take him off the PP entirely

How can you have ant kind of sustained pressure when Dadonov and Gallagher cough the puck up every time they touch it

Remember when Jake Evans used to drive to the net and beat people with speed? ... where is that guy? I looked up his stats. He had 13 goals last season. This year he had one assist in 19 games. What's happened to this guy?

What the hell was that?? They skated all the way back into their own zone, and then Savard and Matheson played Alphonse and Gaston with no one around them until Matheson literally passed it to a Blue Jacket in the slot with barely no pressure on him??

I think we could play better D... I'm old and out of shape but I think I can skate better than Savard There was ZERO pressure on them. Columbus got in a line change because they skated back into their own zone?? If you didn't know better , you'd swear Matheson and Savard bet against Montreal tonight

I do not discount that Matheson may be rusty out there, but man there is literally nothing to like about how he operates in his own end through three games.
The quick fight back goal was important. The Sherriff has a heavy, deceptive wrister.

Arber Xhekaj's goal is his 3rd of the season.
Ties him for 19th on the Habs all-time goals by a rookie defenseman with Bill Nyrop Francis Bouillion Sylvain Lefevbre Alexei Emelin Raphael Diaz Kent Carlson Mike Lalor Gilbert Delorme Dollard St. Laurent
