Two nice plays on that Dach goal. Good vision and quick play by Drouin and nice panic threshold by Ylonen. His skating alone should have him in the NHL but there’s more to that kid. The numbers game because of all the veterans and their crappy contracts has hurt him. He's got good vision and skating... in the short term slaf-dach-ylonen might be a nice line |

How bad has our secondary scoring been?
When Sean Monahan got injured he was 4th on the team in scoring with 17 points in 25 games.
He has missed 27 games this season and is still 4th on the team in scoring

Not sure how the game is showing on TV, but I am in the building tonight (thanks to work) and the game and atmosphere has been great. Loved the triple low with PK and Price.

That is awesome, Tank. The team is playing with good energy tonight and the crowd appreciates the boys bringing it on a night when a guy who always loved playing in this sweater was celebrated.

This is a game that should give Bergevin and Therrien heartburn the rest of their lives. The tank can take a break for a day. The triple low five is a dagger. Loved it.

What a great game. In my section people were hoping and preying Caulfield would get a third when the goalie was pulled. The place would of erupted.
Only downside was the pucker up and pray 2 hr drive back home after the game. Dedicated lanes was option.

Can PK give the team a pep talk before every game. PK was magical. He hit all the right notes: spoke in French, brought Mila from the hospital, thanked everyone including the fans (OK not everyone as I didn't hear him mention MB or MT), had the fans call "Mila, Mila", dropped the Beliveau name, and low fives with Carey. And the best part was telling the players the fans will love you if you play hard - that's all we want.
And very fitting Hoff was a healthy scratch. Not only being scratched for a call up in Y but the coaching staff would rather have 11 forwards and 7 D than dress Hoff. OUCH! I love it.

Drouin, Dads, Evans, all had there best games this season. Once we get secondary scoring we can actually compete in games.
Wifi is a monster. Man I love his game. And to think he's a rookie.

The PK effect.
And who cannot at least feel a little happy seeing the triple low five again and the reunion between two ex-teammates and old friends. Chantal and the Habs PR hit it right last night. It was a chance for PK and the fans to admire each other and create some energy in the building that has been sorely lacking due to some really bad team play of late. Also a subtle little “screw you” to certain figureheads of the old regime.
And heck, if PK’s speech can fire up some of the guys in the BBR who have been struggling, then it was a resounding success. Hope those guys can keep it going beyond one game though. We shall see. Busy weekend coming up after all.
