Ylönen won’t be a saviour to this sad sack bunch, but I have been hoping for his call up for a while so that he can at least show management what he has, and what he might still need to work on. He has to clear waivers next season, so give him an extended audition. I am sure a few games on the sidelines for some of the misfits is not going to impact their (non) trade value anyway.

I'm disappointed that Pezzetta and Hoffman are in the line-up while Ylonen isn't. We know exactly what we have with both those guys and a big blank with Ylonen. We should be allowing Y to fill in those blanks. Besides, shortening his name to Y, improves my speed typing skills.

Nashville, even with the big lead, were trying to line up some Habs for big hits and to bully the boys after whistles. I would definitely have as many "take no ****" type guys in the lineup as possible. I hope Ylonen is in the lineup, though for me it should be in place of Dadonov, Hoffman, or Drouin.
Saros seems to be in net for the Toronto game tonight, so once again an opponent tosses Montreal a chance to beat their backup.

Off topic, but anyone have any idea why I don’t have the 3 star Twinkle icon in the top right of my Twitter screen? Twitter arbitrarily went from my ‘Most recent’ timeline to some crap that Musk likes. I need to change that via the Twinkle thing and there’s none showing where it should be. Google is no help. Help! This was a nice ceremony for Subban. He obviously loves the Canadien and the city. Price's appearance was cool. I am sure it was nice for them to reminisce.

Entertaining 1st period. Good energy in the building. I thought Wifi really got the crowd into it with a few big collisions. He brought all of his 238 lbs with him tonight.

Two nice plays on that Dach goal. Good vision and quick play by Drouin and nice panic threshold by Ylonen. His skating alone should have him in the NHL but there’s more to that kid. The numbers game because of all the veterans and their crappy contracts has hurt him.
