The boys dug deep in this one, on the heels of bad news and down two goals. I am happy for Montembeault. And I am starting to be a believer in his NHL future. I am also happy for Harvey-Pinard and Pitlick with memorable moments in the Bell Centre tonight, though I admit I am not bullish on their NHL futures.

After Toronto scored 2 goals & hit 2 posts in the 1st I turned it off. Guess I will settle for highlights.
What I will enjoy is the seeds of doubt planted in the minds of the leafs.
OMG - how could the mighty Leafs run up a lead and lose to the Laval Rocket?😀

I hate it when commentators say one team plays down to a team below them in the standings, so disrespectful... how can these guys like Bieksa not understand that on any given night, one team can beat another

This is a great opportunity for Marty to try guys in different positions like he did tonight. Keep going with Dach at centre - he's getting it. Keep josh with Suze on the top line and see if he's ready to dominate given his skills. Who knows maybe even Pitnick finds a groove with Nick. Let Monty run with this - I thought for sure that after being pulled last game and giving up 2 early goals that he would be crushed but the guy stays calm. And love the Laval line. Lots of effort and spunk - and results.

It's too bad to see him buying into the Leaf crap. They weren't playing down to Montreal in the 1st period. As an aside, it's going to be fun to wear the Habs gear around town today. |
