Anyone else finding Ylonen to be pretty invisible ? Agree, but he's entitled to an off night. It's Dvo, Dads, Hoff, and Pity that have an on night every 10 games, and sometimes more. Man this is hards to watch. Sure we had 8 rookies in the line-up (must be some sort of record), but it's the vets that piss me off. And Marty absolutely has to free Suze from Pity, and perhaps Josh too. Sure a captain has to sacrifice for the team, but this many games with Pity in cruel. |

Florida is making the playoffs There is no way we can tank to lower than 5th last All in all, this season was for nothing. And we may be hoping for another tank next season 🤮 |

Florida has the talent to make it. Though it seems anything but a sure thing. After all, thoroughbreds like Crosby and Ovechkin just don't miss the playoffs, as in never. And for the Panthers to make it, one of those guys would have to miss.

Not that tanking or refs favoring certain teams actually happens, but I am sure Uncle Gary would not mind if opening round tv ratings are higher with the presence of legends like Crosby and Ovechkin.

And we may be hoping for another tank next season 🤮 Good to see you're still exuding positivity, Skilly  . Florida has 3 teams to jump over to make the playoffs, Buffalo, NYI and one of Pittsburgh and Washington. That makes it tougher, just like a golfer who is only 3 strokes behind the leader but there's 7 guys ahead of him. Florida also depends heavily on two guys, Barkov and Ekblad. Any kind of injury to either is a huge hurdle to overcome. Barkov has tended to have a few injuries this year, so who knows? |

Oh, I'm not commenting on Dadonov or Hoffman because I just don't care. Pitlick is a 3d/4th liner who can't play on a top line. I hadn't noticed Dvorak, which I guess fits with your point. But Ylonen is at the point where he needs to show he's more than just "not hurting us". If I'm Hughes and I'm taking notes for next season, I don't need points, but I do need to see *something*, otherwise he's at most AHL-bound depth, and if he's lost to waivers, I don't really care. |

That's a lot of Negatives Willie. I deleted mine after seeing the score, even with Beck there. I suspect Simpleton was watching hi-lites from a Leafs win earlier in the month and couldn't be bothered to follow the game he was being paid to cover. I could not believe that at no time did these announcers, all foreigners to the Habs, ever say that Beck is only 18 years old. If this was an 18 year old called up to the Leafs, they would have had a full story during intermission on his home town and his point totals as a peewee. |
