Wow, Zholtok was wearing a letter and scored 26 goals one season. After graduating from university I must have been taking a break from the Habs in the late 90s because honestly I do not even remember this guy.
Ottawa is feeling good after thumping the Leafs last night. Talbot is probably in net for this one, so maybe that helps. The Sens have a deadly power play so guys who are predisposed to take lazy penalties (Hoffman, among others) need to get focused or it could be a long night.
Three questions occur to me: Will Beck be in the lineup? Is Edmundson available tonight? Is Montembeault back in net?

I believe you went three for three, habsorbed. At least according to the NHL Network, St. Louis returns to a traditional 12 forward lineup tonight. Beck was listed on the Dvorak line. This is fine. It really does not matter much either way. And I can see why the plan is to leave the energy line together. Wideman is the only healthy scratch. Montembeault is between the pipes.

They were also on the ice for the pp goal unless my eyes deceived me Suzuki, Pitlick and Anderson also at -2. Three bad defensive forward’s together. I know they’re short, but ouch. Ylonen should be there. Pitlick should be in the ECHL. Short too many guys. But MSL better not be doing that 2 years from now with a better team. Oh well. Petard for Bedard. |
