Monty and Allen performed well back-to-back.
I don't know our overall Super Bowl weekend afternoon record, but I don't recall many sweeps.
Fully expected a regulation loss today.

Losing Xhekaj will be a big blow for any length of time because not only that major physical presence is gone but the guy coming into the lineup (Wideman) is nothing more than a #7-8 depth guy. That's a win for tank Nation. |

Don, tell us how you really feel... lol I guess living there you must get your fill from Oilers fans I am definitely tired of Oilers fans gloating. They had not lost in regulation in 34 days. McDavid had a 16 game point streak and 17 road game point streak, both of which were stopped. They could have moved into first in the Pacific at least until the Vegas game later. Alas, they pooped the bed. Even the Habs misfits looked better than the Oiler stars today. This does hurt the tank (so did that shocker against the Isles yesterday), but if I get to smirk a bit with my Oiler fan buddies a bit, then all is not lost. Definitely a game where I had torn emotions on the possible results. I'm mostly thinking this game shows that they could really use a guy like Edmundson to stabilize their D. Over on HF I've seen so many Oiler fans convinced they have zero need for him... |

Solid effort by Les Boys. Everyone played well, even Hoff, Drouin and Dads, altho I just don't get how Dads ever made the NHL.
Hi-lite was Belzile finally getting his first goal. Great feeling. I also liked the fact that of the 5 skaters on the ice, all were rookies but Pezz who really is hardly a vet.
And while I'm all for the tank, if you're going to gain 2 points in the standings just as well that it be as a result of a spanking of the Oilers, holding McD pointless!
