Carey Price is hanging out with the team this trip. He was on the bench for warmups (in street clothes 😆).

What are the refs seeing there? Simmonds was either diving or so clumsy on his skates that he started falling before Wideman even engaged him.

Being dominated again. I mean, i want to lose but with some respect and panache. Too much to ask for though when you look at the guys dressed. Way too many minor leaguers and guys who are marginal NHL’rs at the very best.

I know its saying a lot but that was one of the worst periods I've seen this year. They generated absolutely nothing even with the PP. There only real chance went to Pitlick who missed the net.
Pezzeta loses a fight to an over the hill vet. And Bunting is allowed to take 3 shots at Montembault without any reaction.

Pezzetta is a middle-weight, albeit willing to take on heavies. The ability of big nasties to fight does not really diminish much with age, provided they still mentally embrace the demand placed on them. Look at Reaves, I think he is older than Simmonds and he is still elite with the fists and basically dreadful at everything else related to NHL level hockey.

Leafs up 5-1 and yet the fat waiter Keefe blows a gasket screaming at the refs over an insignificant penalty interpretation of the scrum. And Keefe and his boys wonder why the refs sometimes tire of their theatrics.
