But my vote would be for Caufield’s goal that was scored against Philly with 1.9 secs left on the clock on a cross ice feed from Suzuki

I'd pick any Xhekaj goal, simply because he's a cool guy. Too many of Caufield's goals look alike, very much like Ovechkin's.....borrrring.

For clutchness, the Caufield one-timer with two seconds is unsurpassed. And obviously it takes crazy skill to have an accurate lightning quick release. But I think I would go with the Suzuki shortie because it seems like a rarer occurrence.

When I'm watching these playoff games I look at the top teams top 5 PP unit and think we have a ways to go to compete. But looking at the 6 man unit on this goal, it looks pretty impressive. Matheson played well as the point man, and Monahan was effective. Obviously no problem with Suze or Cole or Dach - all 3 should get stronger in the next few years. Gally will need to find his old form which is doubtfu so we will need someone to step up this year; preferable a dman - Barron or Guhle. Not likely we will re-sign Monahan, probable already would have happenned. So we may have to wait on Slafs which may be a year or two at best. I guess the good news is they haven't signed Drouin so he can test the FA market. We can only hope some team offers him way more than HuGo would ever.
