First period in the books

Shots are 7-6 for DAL
Suzuki line looks good
Newhook line looks surprisingly good , I was critical of putting Newhook between RHP and Armia but they had a good period
The other lines didn't stand out, but no big gaffes
The defense looked good head-manning the puck and simple plays to limit offense
Monty only had that one little moment where video review showed that only 3/4 of the puck crossed the line, and Monty defied the laws of physics to pull it back

Either Newhook jumped on too fast, or the player was too slow getting off ... but as soon as Newhook was on the ice, the puck was on his stick

Thanks for the updates Skilly. I've got no way of watching today and probably tomorrow too. I’ll second that. This is really weird. It’s Saturday. The Habs game on Saturday is always televised , except today. WTF?! Every other Cdn team game eill be available. Id like to beat the crap out of some scheduler. |
