Slafkovsky with the nice cross crease feed & Suzuki with the tap in. 2-0.
6 game point streak for Slafkovsky.

Jason Kelce is retiring. Not sure about Travis Kelce. I thought I heard KC Kelce was retiring as well He's on record stating that he wants the 3-peat. Pretty hard to retire when Mahomes is chucking you the ball.

No denying the Ducks are putrid, but credit to the boys tonight because through 40 minutes it is hard to find negatives in their play.
Slafkovsky is brimming with confidence right now. And, man, Suzuki is just in one of those hot streaks.

Slaf is becoming 'Da Man'... it's a treat watching him grow as a player... better, smarter, faster, stronger... and he only turns 20 end if March...

Fowler hooks Armia outside of the zone avoiding the penalty shot.

I know Gibson is not playing but it must be tough for vets like him and Fowler to go through this. Fowler is getting close to 1000 games, all with Anaheim.

Matheson must have missed 2-3 opportunities to pass to Slafkovsky on that PP.

Kings getting hammered by Buffalo - 7-0 I predict Blake gets replaced by Bergie very soon. He’ll wear his red suit at the coronation.

What's with this Johnston dude and the finger pointing. He starts crap after the game is over and he's skates off doing a Ryan Reaves impression? The guy is almost 30 with 9 career goals. Why is he even out there?

Johnston is not an NHL player, hence why he gets 1/2 the ice time that a more typical 12th forward like Pezzetta plays. That dude is just there to act like an idiot and deflect attention away from what a mess Anaheim is at this point in time.
Primeau was not busy, but hey a shutout is something he will always remember.

Did we really outshoot a team 38 to 13? Man they must be awful.
Blacked out here on the west coast but I am encouraged by Slafkovsky and his 3 points. Do we have something here? Do I dare to hope?

Suzuki - 14 points in his last 8 games - 51 points in 53 games
Slaf - 12 points in his last 11 games - Now on pace for 41 points
Primeau - if you had he'd get the first shut- out in almost 1 calendar year, then you wasted you good luck and should have placed lots on money on it

I’ve thought his ceiling was Jagr territory., from before he was drafted, because of the size similarities, not the scoring. That take looked really dumb the first games this year, but I’m back to that now. He hasn’t grown into his body yet nor discovered what he can do when he does. He msy well be our next superstar, developing in front of us. Next step - a couple of points in the same game against a good team. This should come with the top line dominating in that game.

That was a feel good game. Sure it was the ducks but any 5-0 win is good to watch. Add in Primeau's first shut out and Gignac's first goal and gotta be happy for these guys.
Throw in Suze looking like a true captain. And best of all, seeing Slafs, our next superstar, dominate in every aspect of the game while putting up 3 points. Wow!

I didn’t see the Xhekaj - Johnston fight. How did it go? The Habs were testy last night Kovacevic, Guhle, Xhekaj, even Struble all ready and willing to drop the gloves. At one point I thought Pezetta was going to fight Gudas too

Nice to see the guys are willing to drop the mitts for each other... Guhle, Xhekaj, Kovacevic, Struble, Pezzetta... that's team building right there... loving Arbers game lately, smart zone exits, smart passes.
