4 point must lose game if we want top 5 pick! Tough call. Buffalo sucks, but they have Jeff Skinner. Coin toss. Harris is back and Ylonen is back in. Kovacevic and Pezzetta out. If Jesse can just improve on those things, away from the puck, that Marty likes he'd be a regular and playing middle 6. The weaknesses are supposed to be his positioning so that he arrives where he should be a split second too late to have an effect (much like Anderson making a hit after the puck is long gone) and losing too many board battles. He needs to take lessons from Slaf in that regard. |

I don’t think Matheson has a ver high hockey IQ. He slithers through the Sabres on the PP and then throws it around the boards to a spot where there are zero teammates. Sabres ice it. What was the point ?!
That’s the result of not having a plan ready for your next move.

That whole mess started because Ylonen lost the ouck in a battle eith a Sabre. Marty won’t be happy with that. Ylonen was trying hard, but maybe a better technique is needed.

Like I said in another thread, Arber could be another Souray with that Canon from the point... his accuracy is good as well... he should be on the point on the PP, forget about the bumper position |
