I like the way Xhekaj, Savard, Anderson, and Gallagher all stood up for Evans (and Primeau) at the end of that spirited shift. I know it just is not in his DNA, but man Evans should have just gone after the guy who mugged him and delivered a crosscheck or whatever. Life in the NHL in the bottom six is tough when you are not big or willing to match the physicality the bottom guys on other team decide to dish on you.

Tampa’s second goal is something Xhekaj has been working on. Forwards are able yo turn on him. Kucherov did the same thing in Montreal to Xhekaj and scored.

This Is the reason I think Kucherov Is the true MVP. He's having a monster season yet they are only in a wild card spot. Where would they be without him?
