Jeez. That EN goal was just too easy. Lose the faceoff, a pass or two & it's in the net,

I’m convinced the scoring in the league would fall by 25% if they excluded empty net points.
So, Guentzel headed to Carolina. I doubt Dubas gets full value for him. All the buyers are being very cheap this year.

Does anyone think the real contenders are worried about Carolina? They haven’t had much grit all year long.

Suze was a turnover machine, and Cole and Slafs coverage was dreadful all night. But even then, i was not impressed with Canes. Don't think Guentz will help the cause much.
And KK is not very good. Doesn't break my heart given all the trolling Canes have done. In fact, you could argue that move by Dutton has caused them a Cup opportunity as they wouldn't be paying a 3rd or 4th liner $5 million a year, and they might have picked up a good first rounder with the pick they sent our way. Sure MB crapped the bed on gettting snookered by Canes and then giving up the pick for Dvo. But Canes didn't exactly help themselves.

I was more mad at the trade with did with the Coyotes. A first and a Second rounder for D-Vo....yuk.

That was a major dumbass move and the pro-scouts involved should have been fired with burgerbrain Getting Dvo was a desperation move by MB after being snookered by Canes. He needed to have something tangible to show for his loss of a 3OA, and a late first round pick wasn't going to to it. But man he was a bad GM on so many levels: player development, player management, trading, drafting, contract negotiating, interpersonal skills. But he could hide behind a plant like no GM i've seen

I would see if someone is desperate enough for one of those two contracts. Vegas always seems to have Cap space
