Timmins was at the US WJC tryouts. Here's his take
"Pacioretty was awesome. Third best fwd there, following Kane and Okposo. He dominated at times. Got hurt, bruised abdomen in 3rd game…sat with me for the 4th game. More upside than Latendresse. Our other 2 d-men were also good."

great to hear! this timmins is turning into as valuable an asset as a good coach, especially with new cba drafting is paramount to success, we're seeing the fruits being beared finally and it looks like it will continue big time this season and next.

Well - Timmins is the Habs director of not only recruitment, but development. Not certain if you were being sarcastic, but part of his job description is helping to develop the players he drafts, so it's good to see him taking a hands-on approach. I read elsewhere that a scout on an Edmonton sports radio show was talking about standouts at the camp, and he also mentioned Kane, Okposo and Paccioretty. I'm beginning to think the Habs may have gotten a steal with this guy. BTW - McKeen's just finished it's Draft Review - with gradings and writeups on how each team did in the draft. Montreal was tied for the top mark with two other teams.

sarcasm? where? check my history on montreal's prospects, i think timmins is more valuable than carbo right now. i'm really hoping in one year carbo has turned that around big time.
