looked like it rolled along the goal line True but I think it was worth a 2nd look. I don't. They showed it on SNE and it clearly didn't go in. No point getting shoerthanded again making another bad challenge

That last penalty on Savard that led to the goal was a penalty and a poor decision by him. Not disagreeing, but what about the same non calls on MTL , like the trip on Suzuki just then and the interference on Newhook Questionable reffing no doubt

And the Suzuki penalty that led to the first goal … what about the three cross checks by Grieg first. Even the ref yelled “Watch your stick Grieg”. How about just call it and not warn him after three times, but call Suzuki on his first swipe

They changed the rule in 2022. They have unlimited challenges. I guess I’m the one that learned something new EDIT: hrmmmmm another site says it’s still one challenge per game I’m going to check the 2023-24 Rule Book

Did anyone else pick up on Eliot Friedman commenting on Luke Tuch considering free agency. It's up in the air and Friedman wouldn't handicap which way he is leaning. Decision expected tomorrow.
I HATE THE NCAA RULES

Wouldn't the offer to Tuch be the same type of offer any rookie would be able to receive?
If it isn't money, then is he having 2nd thoughts about playing in Montreal?

May want to play stateside where he's from. A second round pick potentially lost for nothing? There should be at least a compensatory pick

C’mon Matheson. 3 secs left, either shoot or pass, but don’t go for skate around the net

Caufield leaves the puck behind.
Giroux with the slapper. No go,
Pretty lame shootout efforts by all concerned.
