Is it just me or does Suze look like he's going through the motions He just plowed Raymond. He doesnt hit like that often. 2nd time tonight for Raymond. Earlier kova, I think, was plowed from behind into the boards... I guess Suze said payback is a bee-otch |

Yeah, he was a hard nosed tank. The limo accident and his paralysis was just terrible.
Well, it is a good test for the boys in the third. Will they skate as five man units, make judicious decisions, and stay out of the box? Or will they relax, extend shifts, and look for easy cookies?

I know Matheson is having a career year but man he has zero defensive awareness And I know plus minus as a stat is not great, but it sure shows a trend when only one defenseman on the team is lower than -8, and it’s -23! Lots of defenders for Matheson (he won’t fall off a cliff, he’s still relatively young, he’s a veteran presence, local guy, great character etc.) eith all these reasons for keeping him. Sure, but the understate his defensive weaknesses, his processing, his turnovers (in the first today, he carried the puck down the left boards and just fumbled it as he tried to think what do do next and turned it over) and, primarily, the surplus at left D. I don’t see the need to keep him. We have a mature team even though they’re young. He’ll have good value after this season. Next year, who knows? |

GO WINGS GO! Is Hutson doing Hutson things? He's played a conservative game for him... he will be a treat to watch in the coming years... you can see the brain working and the smart decision with the puck... he needs time to adjust defensively to the speed of the NHL and positioning. In college he went wherever he wanted here he has to stay within the structure. |

Tough, the boys have just got cratered in the third period. I have not noticed guys cheating for points, but the team defense is just not good enough.

It's like Montreal isn't even trying in the third. They are sitting back and just dumping pucks to areas , and not even skating in the offensive zone
If this is our team, I'm done. I know they have nothing to play for....but that's GD embarrassing
