Jiricek is a gamble. He had a bad injury and missed a ton, and was meh otherwise

Speaking of Norwegians, I would not mind if Montreal took the bone-crusher Solberg at #21. The big brute will go in the first

But after Eiserman I am lost on who goes where. That was the end of my scouting knowledge. I think he is best of the rest right now. Some Russians, Basha and a few others are the most talented next Agreed. Boisvert or Greentree which ironically is the same name in a different language are who I figure Montréal will pick at 21. Although I would seriously start thinking of trading for Eiserman. Chicago will rab him if available.

So much talk that it was a lock that Montreal would package their second 1st in a package for an established player. Time is running out Yeah I don't understand the trade before the draft unless you have something else in mind because you have no idea how it plays out before 21.

I know Hughes gets along splendidly with NCAA kids/families, since he himself played in Vermont. But I would tread carefully with McGroarty. For the #21 the risk seems relatively low, but there is no way Chevaldayoff lets that kid go for the #21 in a draft that will be scrambly after the top 15. Winnipeg does not need to trade McGroarty tonight or even this summer. They can drum up interest and trade him to the highest bidder in 60-90 days. It is obvious McGroarty was keen on jumping into the league this spring but the Jets trying to chase a deep playoff run would not guarantee him a roster spot, so I highly doubt this kid wants to sit around in college hockey long enough to be a UFA.

Greentree, Boisvert (USHL), Basha, Surin , the other big Russian forward are likely best left. Some good options

Lia Hextall just compared, sort of indirectly, Boisvert to Malkin. That is even indirectly a major case of hyperbole. I was not overly high on that kid and I feel sort of relieved that Montreal did not trade up to #21 to try to get him.

Could Eisermann fall to the Habs. They interviewed him a ton. It looks like him, Greentree or another of the Russian duo

I pray it is Eiserman. But I would be really happy with Greentree or the Norwegian bone-crusher.

Greentree likely best guy now Over Eisermann? It feels like a full count. Home run swing for riskier Eisermann or safer check swing for Greentree

I am crossing my fingers he falls one more time! Sure he is selfish, but he can score You can always teach defence, bit you can't teach talent. I would pick Eisermann myself. I find Cailfielf was very similar and he has definitely improved overtime.

There's still Chernyshov and Michael Hage, besides Eiserman.
