Flyers like big players. Anderson is available lol. Plus, Philly has the coach he performed best with.

Good trade for Philly. There 12, for 13 and 3rd rounder 2025 from Minny. I'd love to know the story there, was another team offering a 2nd to drop lower and they used it as leverage? How did Philly manage a 3d for all of 1 spot ?

Fletcher says they need a C. Is it Helenius?

For sure, NW. I am wary of some players who get comfortable in college hockey (enjoy the hockey, enjoy university, enjoy the life) because if you are a stud talent and you basically like all of those things then the issue of delaying pro gratification may not seem like a big issue.
So did Buium say he played High School/Academy hockey in the state of Minnesota? I did not quite get that detail in the post-pick interview.

But Philly needs d-prospects, particularly on the left side. So why would they not want Buium if he was willing to sign there?

Luchenko picked by Philly. need your input on this NWT. I had not followed him before the U18s, but he was very good in his two way role there. Saw all their games

I was leaning Helenius. They drafted a snipper last draft first...drawing a blank. Sorry wrong quote. Was talking about Eisermann by NWT

Helenius is a decent pick here. Played at Worlds and U18, which is a rare double in one year. Good two way big C. Knock was scouts wanted more pure offense from him, but Liiga is a defense league

I see Detroit taking the Dane. Michael Brandsegg-Nygard

Nice pick for the Sabres at 14. Helenius did well playing against men in Finland. However, that does not mean he should necessarily play in the NHL next season. Knowing the Sabres, they see him replacing Mittelstadt from day one so they can try to break a million year playoff absence.

I see Detroit taking the Dane. Michael Brandsegg-Nygard Norwegian even. One of two Norwegians who could be first ever first rounders

So much talk that it was a lock that Montreal would package their second 1st in a package for an established player. Time is running out

Speaking of Norwegians, I would not mind if Montreal took the bone-crusher Solberg at #21.
