Yes, we know about the rampant PornHub epidemic but there is a cure...rampant Habs utube epidemic.

Up till this draft i didn't bother with talking heads and their half wit spewings BUT...and this us a big but, i found McCagg interesting and informative. Then sadly i kept watching and other talking heads made sense...to a degree.

So now i go utube searching for him.

One of the more interesting Habs related utube channels is Toni Marinaro Sick Podcast show. I set the utube search on date preferance, type his name and up comes his channel. (If anyone knows how to link it AND get the latest show, please share it)

Marinaro is not that interesting but his guests can sometimes be out of the park home runs.

Any other suggestions?

I mostly listen to podcasts as I’m on the road a lot for work. The Sick Podcast has been a regular listen for a few years now. Recently discovered The Basu & Godin Notebook which is really good. They’ve been off all summer though so hopefully it’s back soon for the new season.

I think that Basu has an inside track but I don't know about his partner.

Two issues...not all the talking heads have that much gravitas. 2nd...I want to know what I don't know, not what is popular and gets clicks.

Brian Wilde was on yesterday and the discussion was about Hutson. My opinion is that a one dimensional defenseman doesn't amount to much more then a bottom six. So Hutson may be top 1-2 offense, but he better have a 5-6 defense to have a spot on the team. Wilde pretty much agrees and that is a far cry from talking heads screaming how great Hutson is, yet never look into his overall game.

Then Marinaro brought up that Hughes is of the same opinion. Hughes doesn't want to bring up Hutson up and only in protect use. He wants him to be a fully useable defenseman. Maybe not to protect a lead the final two minutes, but certainly the rest of the time.

Great, that's EXACTLY what I want to hear.

For me, I like a lot less smoke blowing and a lot more critical thinking.

Sick podcast is really good, Habs Digest is another, Jesse Poirier is on all the time, I find him pretty good most times. Legorocks99 is ok, sdpn has some good topics every now and again.

Going off topic, if your into music history, Professor of Rock is one of my favorite channels to watch.
