Rather than the DYI of the Telus website, I called a rep and ended up getting the 3 RDS channels above, plus TVA for $9 a month. That's quite reasonable, so I think I'm a happy camper. (for now).

You need TVAS on top of RDS to get all the games.
Roughly calculate that 45 will be RDS, 20 various free English and 17 TVAS.
Then add in any Laval games.
I'm thinking of being a big spender and start the $5 beatings next week for the prospect games.

I'm pretty sure TVA shows the same habs games as Sportsnet..., Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays

I think you're right Willie. My package has both companies, but I don't think I'll be watching much TVA as those games will also be on Sportsnet or CBC.
Do RDS or TVA carry the Laval games or does one have to subscribe to the AHL feed?

Guys, go to this net link and you will see the hockey links. RDS is linked with TSN2. TVASis linked to HNIC. As far as I know, in GTA, HNIC prioritizes the Laffs, so the linking works in Ottawa and east of Belleville. What I need to do now is find the free Habs English games and then give my RCCIC, aka, Remote Control Commander in Chief a schedule of all the games so she can schedule their recording on a week by week basis. I'm driving her a bit batty. We got the smart TV a short while ago and yesterday the Ignite system. Her eyes are glazing and she might need excess buttons therapy.
