The rules are pretty simple. You can only choose one team; Anaheim or Montreal. Bias aside, which one do you take?

I already committed the sin of coveting my neighbors wife...and found out about buckshot.
With Demigod and Slaf potential along with our defenseman pipeline, I'll stick with what we have.

It's very close though...Anaheim might be the Habs of the West. Who knows? It might become the Stanley cup finals in 3 years time. |

I like us but probably because we’re a little ahead of Anaheim in the rebuild. Because of that we have more depth are a but older in maturity and I like the culture on the team which may not be in place in Anaheim.

The Ducks look really good, but we look even better....I have to give us the edge in potential impact players like Demidov.

They chose him over Demidov. Now maybe Verbeek has a thing against Russians or believes Canadians will function better in the playoffs, to account for the choice, but they clearly went in that direction instead of Demidov. Montreal's connection with SKA through the Bobrov's may have given them more insight. As usual, we'll know better in a few years. |

I also didn't ist all of Anaheims best prospects so they might have some more that I am unaware off.
I think both teams are close to be honest and quite similar.
Slafkovaky = Sennecke
Caulfield = Zegras
Dach = Carlsson
MacTavish = Suzuki
Zelleweger + Mintykov = Guehle + Reinbacher
Demidov = Gauthier

I love Sennecke and even Gauthier a stud....if things work out for both teams I could see us competing against each other for a Stanley cup someday. |
