Jacob Fowler can't get to the NHL fast enough. Primeau is playing like a beer leaguer

Every battle, and every loose puck going to the bruins. Habs stinking up the joint.

Feels like all the goals against are system issues to me. People not covering where they’re supposed to be. Bruins wide open to take any shot they like. Same problems as last year. Same coach as last year.

Dach in the slot, won't shoot, tries to dish to Caufield for pretty play. Gets intercepted. Why can't they shoot?

The first PP unit looks bored. Just pass it around and give up shots and try to set up Caufield for the one timer. It's like watching the Chicago Sky of the WNBA always trying to set up Angel Reese

Dvo, Armia, Anderson and Evans need to go... start by sending Josh "VIC20 processor" Anderson to Laval or trade him to SJ with a 2nd rounder for futures

Even our coach looks disinterested. Everytime the camera is on him, he's leaning on the glass, arms folded, chewing gum. Dead silence from him it seems

They better not resign dvo, armia or evans I agree. Armia up to his old ways. Wouldn't know he was playing except for the minor penalties against him. Dvo is bored and has zero compete level, doesn't care. Evans wants to play but just doesn't have the skill for the nhl

With ABB and Armia on the PP I dont expect much.
As for Primeau - the guy is 25 years old and I dont see a higher ceiling for him than as a NHL backup. I never expected much for a guy picked at 199.

It didn't take long for the line juggling. Game two. Slafkovsky on second line, Anderson on top line
It's the PP that needs line juggling and we need two defense on each unit to balance the units

This won't go over well in the halls of Quebec, but I've been concerned for well over a year over the lack of structure in our team. We spend way too much time in our end because there seems to be little definition as to being in certain lanes, move the puck here and then there, etc. This hurts our attack because we lose the puck a lot and it stays in our zone, without the other team having to work to create those possessions. We just hand it to them. The other issue is covering opponents in our end. The other team has possession for too long, gets into dangerous positions too often and does so, again, without having to work hard to create those opportunities.
This is coaching. Period. If you have a a good goaltending performance, it hides these weaknesses, but they are consistently there. I have raised questions about MSL in the past, but this feeling has really strengthened. Players have gotten better individually, so he's doing some things well, but he desperately needs to put in something more definite that the players can follow. In the offensive zone, they can create to their heart's content, but in our zone, structure and discipline is needed. This has to be made apparent to Marty and there can be no objection. It was obvious last night, but Monty bailed us out. Primeau isn't bailing us out today (and Monty wouldn't either if he had to face those same shots), and the holes are evident.
I am not impressed.

All I know is that when are on the PP, we can't get to the middle. We pass and pass and pass but the other teams box stays intact When we are on the PK, we don't pressure and our box isnt as organized and the other team can pass to the middle and gets shots at will
