Does your team suck?
Does it need a boost of confidence?
Do you want your team to look like ALL-STARS?
Just come over and play the Kitties of Winter. Guaranteed to give you 6 goals or more of points and confidence.

Penguins put 46 shots on Anaheim tonight and ut took a heroic effort by Dostal to prevent a blowout.
I foresee another 6 spot against the Habs

We are only 2 points ahead of the last place team and are tied for 3rd last... impressive... they are really in the mix... for the 1st overall pick

SportsNet headline says "Not Even Crosby Can Save These Penguins". But I'm pretty sure Habs can make them feel good about themselves a little while.
At some point HuGo will realize it ain't just the losing, but the humiliating losses that will take a toll on everyone, including HuGo. Starting to think HuGo is all about image with their PR team and their 'feel good' vibe. Reality is starting to hit home!

This site needs some valium....or coke.
Brighten up guys. Bottom line is we have good talent on the team, even if it isn't showing itself. While I see some creeping criticism of HuGo, there's too much success in the backgrounds of both those guys, to think they've turned into Trumps (ok, now you have an inkling into my US political leanings).
On the sidelines, and not contributing this year are Laine, Reinbacher, Demidov and Hage. Over the next 2 years we have 3 first rounders, 4 2nd rounders and 4 third round picks, and we shouldn't be picking 25th, no man's land. Some of our kids are going through a rough patch, no doubt. They're not THAT bad. Personally, I'm not crazy about Barron, but I think Arber can be a very solid 3rd pair defender, Struble can match that at least and quite possibly be a solid 2nd pair, defensive guy. Reinbacher will be a very good third D, with some possibility of making the first pair as Hutson's partner and Guhle can be a Norris Candidate (maybe not winning it but top 5 in voting. Hutson? The sky's the limit.
You can see Dach gaining confidence each game, so it won't be long before he's making great plays. Newhook should be a winger and on the 3rd line not second. Roy should be up on the Habs, not the Rocket and Beck will be on the team before long, maybe even just after Christmas. Armia has gone back to 'old" Armia and can be replaced. Dvorak is the proverbial tits on a bull and should be waived until his contract runs out next summer.
Now this is all repeating what has been said over and over, but there is light at the end of the proverbial tunnel (no that's not a freight train heading our way). The singular question to be asked is if Marty is the right guy to lead this group and if so, what can HuGo do to support him without bruising his ego (or maybe to hell with the ego)? If he's not the right guy, who is? It's a small pool.

This saying in a literal sense means a team that raises the dead. In Southern Cone football culture, it basically refers to a team that breathes life into a bad opponent struggling in the standings.

I don't know if i was a compasino or conquistador in my former life, because i find spanish easy to understand. I hired lots of the first wave of Spanish speaking ladies in the late 80s so i picked up a lot of helpful...and not so helpful words trying to train them on CNC machines. Amazing hard working "farm girls" and way too many Spanish speaking macho man who didn't approve of woman in "mens jobs". Like i gave a fig... Those were intetesting times for me...

If he's not the right guy, who is? It's a small pool. Well, if we're looking for a hit of morphine, I would simply say that being at the wrong end of a lopsided score is not unusual this season. Most teams have been smoked in a few games this season. There have been a whole lot of lopsided scores. Part of our, and the teams, problem is that HuGo had us all drinking the Kool-Aid this summer. As you say 17, this team's future is bright but the sun hasn't hit the horizon yet. But I'm very pleased with Lane as he will be a good one! Guhle is coming into his own. And Cole may be the sniper we all hoped he'd be. I really don't see our fortunes in the standings changing much until we dump the QuadSquad; Dvo and Armia first and soon, and then Josh and Gally.

No wonder Canadians have such disdain for the Leafs and HNIC. I'm watching the pre game show & 13 minutes in it's still all Toronto.

I don't care what level of sports you play, when you stop caring, winning becomes much much harder

Gone are the days when MTL was a fast strong forechecking team, there is in fact no forechecking now. We are being coached to hold position defensively, do not pressure the puck carrier, and wait to jump on it and transition. Too bad, we don't have anyone who can headman the puck tape to tape to save their lives

What is this BS of flipping the puck back to the defense or chipping it to the corner ...it's only giving up possession!
