Hi Spiro, I should have posted this for you on Saturday night, but I guess it's better late than never. On Saturday night Scott had only been back in the lineup for 4 games, and he's already a major contributor. He got 2 of 7 goals in the game Saturday night against the Panthers. ;D I'll only post the part of the article about Scott. www.sjsharks.com/sharks2002/tv_radio/dan/recaps/1037501999.htmPeriod 1: Three minutes later at 10:38, the sharks took their first lead of the game, a lead they would not relinquish, when Scott Thornton took a pass from Mike Ricci and found the back of the net for his first goal of the season. Period 2: In terms of goals, the Sharks picked up where they left off, literally. At 10:31 of the second period, Scott Thornton again found the back of the net, when he roofed a pass from Sundstrom over Hurme for a 3-1 lead. Following Thornton’s second goal of the game, Florida Head Coach Mike Keenan pulled his starting netminder and sent in Roberto Luongo.

Well it was good to get Nabby back, but I think the real keys to the Sharks turn around was getting both Scott Thornton and Brad Stuart back in the lineup. Both of them were sorely missed and it did make a whole lot of difference in their scoring and winning/losing. Nabby was definitely good last night especially that last 2 minutes and even more so in the last 30 seconds.
