Wings are in big trouble, if the goaltending stays the way it is. I know the Wings were down 0-2 to Vancouver last year, but the Canucks played well and didn't rely totally on Cloutier. The Ducks are reminding me of the Habs in the latter stages of last season when they made the playoffs...capitalizing on their limited chances while being outshot and outplayed, just not out-goaltended.

I disagree. I think the Ducks can win this series without totally relying on Giguere. Mind you, with 63 saves in Game 1, he will be a major factor.
The Ducks finally have a centre to set up Kariya in Adam Oates, and acquired Petr Sykora as well. Combine that with the clutch performances of Steve Thomas, they aren't going to lay dead for the Wings.
After Game 2, I think this is more and more clear. The Wings clearly overestimated the Ducks and it's hurting. Cujo played very well in Game 1 (overshadowed by Giguere of course), but his play dropped a tad in Game 2.
I just don't see the Wings going anywhere with Cujo. I highly doubt Giguere is going to give up a goal from centre ice like Cloutier did. Giguere is the better goalie by far IMO.

guys, if you want to talk about the playoffs you can do it at the main board in the playoff thread. There is little or no traffic on these boards saddly and yes Cujoke sucks ;D
