Too bad it ended like it did. As I was watching the replays of that goal while waiting on a decision, I must admit I couldn't tell with absolute certainty if the puck was indeed over the line. I think it was but I'm just not sure. Will this become a hockey version of a 1966. soccer World cup final?
btw, I don't think Peter Forsberg was more deserving of a spot on the WC all-star team than Pallfy or even Stumpel for that matter.

Actually, when they blew up the circle around the puck you can just make it out. The puck is slightly under his pad and his pad goes back into the net. You can see it.
I was extremely happy for Craig Rivet. He salvaged an otherwise disappointing season, but he also had a chance to play on a team that had no divisions (or none that we know of), no cliques, etc.
Sad thing though, Rimmer. I thought there would be more people happy about their country's victory.

Don Cherry just showed a closeup of Ryan Smith during the post-game celebrations. Ryan has tears in his eyes.
You just can't beat that.
