copy cats... I wonder who will be the GM? Tambelinni? as long as Pat is in charge..no cup for them I am just happy that they are copying us, and not the other way around....meaning they would have picked Gainey first. Of course, there is no garantee that Bob would have accepted the position! I definitely believe that Tambelinni is the guy. They even mentionned it at the draft, when they were talking about his son NOT being drafted by Vancouver, that the Cunucks will not draft simply because of family concerns especially when there is a good chance that Tambelinni would not be there in the near future! In a way, it's too bad! I have been enjoying reading and viewing the circus on TV ... TO and Quinn deserve each other! ;D THF

This is so great.
Peddie is now a huge part of their organization and he knows more about basketball than hockey. Him, Quinn and Dryden will search for the GM.
What's even more odd is that why didn't they start this search earlier so the GM could be in place for July 1? Now Quinn is the one who is gonna negotiate with UFA's and then a new GM will come in and be stuck with what Quinn just did. heh.
Also, there is no 'president' in the whole hierarchy, big mouth Watters is gone, the teachers union have the power in the MLSE boardroom and Dryden is now vice-charmain for MLSE.
67 forever!

I don't know if they will be that active in the UFA market. Dryden indicated thay will wait a bit.
But what a messed up organization. Quinn is in the search committee to find his own boss. Hewants to find someone that work with him. Since when does management work from the bottom up?
Why are Dryden and the other afraid of this guy. They say they are looking for the best person available - they will end up with someone that will keep Quinn happy.
