Druken was reacquired by the Leafs in May of this year. He had to be re-signed for them to keep him for the up coming season. Granted he hasn't had a good couple of seasons, but bouncing around doesn't help either. I saw a lot of Druken out West. He was really good in 00/01. He may never recover to that season's success, but then again, he just could. I'm not going to condem the Leafs on this one yet. I need to see how Druken does before I start yelling but he can't show how well or how poorly he is doing until he is in Toronto. He may have only had 1 good NHL year in him, but then again he could have just hit a couple of bad seasons and could just rebound. If he reaches Toronto this coming season and he sucks, then I will start yelling. I've had enough Lumme's and Eriksson's on the Leafs to last me 20 lifetimes, at 150 years of age on each of those 20 lifetimes.

Hey Pam, Seems that every time I post something about the "Leafs", you seem to be one of the first to read it...Hope you don't think that I am some kind of jerk! To be honest, if Druken can get back to where he was when playing for Vancouver, he could be a decent addition. He hasn't done very well however, in the past few seasons.... I have a feeling that the Leafs are a bit desperate right now with regards to their D. They lost a big piece in Wesley and are trying to patch the hole with lesser players, hoping that it will calm the fans...maybe it will, but it sure isn't making their team much better. THF

THF LOL!! ;D But naturally!! I always look at the Leafs posts but I don't always reply to them. It depends on the content. If it really bothers me I won't reply because even though I am friend of CO and Dis, I still consider myself a guest in your house so I won't reply to a post that bothers me. I just move on to another post. I understand the rivalry feeling. Anyone who knows about the NY-SF Giants/Brooklyn-LA Dodgers rivalry will realize I can understand about the Leafs/Habs rivalry. I grew up a die hard Dodgers fan in SF Giants territory. I HATE the Giants. Baseball is too boring to watch now but I still keep track of the Dodgers. Even though I don't watch the games anymore, on any night the Giants are playing I root for the team the Giants are playing (except the Braves and then I hope they split the series). If the Giants never won another game for the rest of all eternity I would be a very happy person. So, you see, I do understand. Pam P.S. No I don't think you are a jerk.
