This season, the NHL will have six teams (Vancouver vs. Montreal, Boston vs. the Rangers and L.A. vs. St. Louis) wearing uniforms from bygone eras in three home and away games against each other. Montreal has also opted to wear their throwback sweaters, from the 1945 season, in all their games against Original Six teams.
The East vs. West All-Star Game will have a vintage look, as will the outdoor game between the Canadiens and the Oilers on Nov. 22 at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium.
