Leafs re-sign McCabe

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced that they have re-signed restricted free agent defenceman Bryan McCabe to a one year contract. In keeping with club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

I think there is a good chance that we will be seeing Colaiacovo this season...they are really thin on the blueline and will likely bring up some youth to compensate.

Possibly their best physical defenseman. Kaberle isn't that bad either, but they're really in a mess. They take a lot of undisciplined penalties, not to mention all the female-dogging that they do when they take them.

And with an aging Belfour, the Leafs' GA is going to be very, very, very high this year.
